High Security & Control
BMS provides integration among different safety related systems such as lightning control, fire alarm, burglar alarm, and CCTV. This in turn increases the safety and control levels of the building and its occupants. As an example, if the fire alarm system senses a problem in one of the floors, instead of sounding an alarm and causing panic, it reports the problem via IP to the lighting system in order to guide the occupants to the stairs. In parallel, it also sends signals to the CCTV system to record the particular event in order to prevent theft during the evacuation process and for future screening. The CCTV system can then report that the particular floor is empty, and the same process can be repeated in each floor.

With the help of Conditional Logic Programming, running costs will be reduced. For example, a motion sensor can be programmed to work only if there is not enough light in a corridor.
