Heat Shrink Tubing |
| We provide customers with thin wall & dual wall tubing that are UL (Underwriters Laboratories)/CSA (Canadian Standards Association) recognized. HitekNOFAL diesel resistant, flame retardant, dual wall with adhesive-lined ATUM, and high temperature tubing Viton are also designed to meet military standards.

| Thin wall tubing & dual wall tubing
|
Thin-wall tubing provides superior insulation, strain relief, and protection against mechanical damage and abrasion. Features include:
- Reliably consistent dimensions and physical properties
- Meeting MIL-I-23053 and MIL-R-46846 standards
- UL/CSA recognized
|
When corrosion protection and sealing are required, HitekNOFAL heat-shrinkable dual-wall tubing is highly recommended. During the specialized installation process, an adhesive lining melts and flows, creating a moisture-resistant protective barrier. Features include:
- Controlled amounts of adhesive, and consistent results
- Compliance with MIL-I-23053 standards
- UL/CSA recognized
- Selected types of tubing are type-approved (thermoform tubing) by the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Det Norske Veritas (DNV), and Lloyd's Registry of Shipping.

Selective materials:
DR-25
This material is especially formulated for optimum high temperature fluid resistance, diesel fuel, hydraulic fluids, and lubricating oils. Operating temperature: -75 up to 150 C.
RNF
This material is designed to provide superior mechanical (abrasion, cut-through, and strain relief) thermal and fluid-resistance. It is widely used to provide insulation and strain relief of wire terminations and connections used for jacketing wire bundles and light-duty harnesses (where superior abrasion resistance is a plus). Operating temperature: -55 up to 135C.
Viton
Viton material is fabricated from a cross-linked fluoro-elastomer material which is designed for a wide range of applications. Viton-E is the thickest wall version. Viton–HW has a thinner wall. Viton-TW has the thinnest wall for lighter weight application.
Operating temperatures:
Viton-E: -55 up to 200 C
Viton–HW and Viton-TW: -40 up to 200 C
Altera
This material of high-performance, medical-grade, heat-shrinkable, single-wall tubing is made of a material formulation that meets the requirements of USP class VI for medical uses. Applications include surgical and electrosurgical instruments, diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, catheter systems, laboratory equipment, sensors, and food processing equipment. Each Altera tubing can be sterilized by ethylene oxide (ETO) or by gamma or electron beam radiation; some types can be sterilized by steam or dry heat.
ATUM
This adhesive-lined, heat-shrinkable tubing provides sealing and strain relief. The tubing's internal adhesive coating melts and flows to form the seal. ATUM tubing has a 3:1 and 4:1 shrink ratio which enables it to conform easily to the shapes of various connectors and sensors.
MicroFit
A complete line of MicroFit heat-shrinkable tubing offers small-diameter tubing for fine-gauge (26 to 42 American wire gauge) wire applications. Compared to other micro-tubing solutions, MicroFit products provide lower shrink temperatures, better strain relief, and enhanced bonding properties.
Versafit
When Versafit heat-shrinkable tubing covers a crimped terminal, it provides reliable electrical insulation and strain relief, thus being a cost-effective, aesthetically preferable, alternative to tape-wrap.
RW-175
This is an extremely tough, high temperature, thin wall insulation tubing. RW-175 is a transparent, non-burning, semi-rigid tubing with superior resistance to most industrial fuels, solvents and chemicals. Designed for applications requiring strain relief at temperatures up to 175°C, this product is unusually tough in its resistance to abrasion and cut-through. Typical applications include high temperature applications, protection, strain relief, chemical resistance, and mechanical and abrasion protection.
Further materials involve BSTS / BSTS-FR, CGPT, etc.
Technical support
We provide experienced, on-site technical assistance for fast, easy installation of heat-shrinkable products. Installation tools and machines—such as heat guns—are specifically designed and engineered for installation of Raychem tubing.
