4. Attenuated patch cords |
To attenuate the optical sign in a link, you need HitekNOFAL attenuated patch cords; they are to be installed instead of the conventional patch cords in order to provide a constant level of attenuation with a return loss of <50 dB. |
The attenuated patch cord can be used to replace the conventional cable assembly and attenuator combination. It is a compact, multipurpose, passive device designed to operate at wavelengths of 1310 and 1550nm. |
Attenuated patch cords are provided with LC, SC, ST and FC connector styles as per customer requirements. |
5. Mode-conditioning patch cords |
Multimode optical fiber links that use laser-based transmitters may be limited in bandwidth to values less than half those of the overfilled launch bandwidth. |
HitekNOFAL mode-conditioning cable assembly eliminates differential mode delay (DMD) by moving the single mode launch to an offset position, increasing the mode fill, and reducing DMD. |
6. Indoor buffer tube fan out kit |
Indoor Buffer Tube Fan-Out Kits are specifically designed for the termination of 6 and 12 Fiber loose tube cables. These fan-out kits provide the ultimate solution for those users who wish to field-install connectors. | A fiber optic adapter or uniter is used to mate two connectors together, usually mounted in a distribution panel or wall box. HitekNOFAL optical fiber adapters are precision-made to ensure perfect alignment of connectors and thus reduce insertion loss. C. Attenuators |
HitekNOFAL singlemode attenuators are used in communication systems to reduce optical power launched onto the photo detector. These high-performance devices are designed to offer accurate attenuation over a wide range of wavelengths. The plug type configuration allows them to be used directly on the end of a patchcord, which in turn is inserted directly into an adapter. |
